Canada Summer Jobs Students
Fundraising & Communications Assistants
Tanner Steffler Foundation is excited to introduce our two Canada Summer Jobs students that will be working with us this summer. As Fundraising & Communications Assistants, they will be busy planning, organizing and attending various events and fundraisers; as well as developing strategies to maximize the Foundation’s exposure through our website and social media platforms. When you see them out and about be sure to give them a warm welcome!
Jordan (On the left):
Hi! My name is Jordan Clarke. I am excited to be working with the Tanner Steffler Foundation this summer. I am from Hensall, so Huron country is very dear to my heart. I have a degree in Psychology and am working on my Social Service Worker diploma. I hope to work in the mental health field when I am done school. I also hope to stay in the area because I know that people in rural communities do not have the same access to mental health services that people from cities do.
Sara (On the right):
Hey! My name is Sara Harris. I am honoured to be a part of the Tanner Steffler Foundation this summer. I have grown up in the Huron County area my whole life. I have watched mental health and addictions push into small towns with minimal help for youth to overcome these barriers. I have college/university course-based background in Psychology and am currently pursuing a diploma in Special Event Planning. My goal is to become strongly involved in foundational, fundraising events in the local area to give small communities hope in battling stigmas and illnesses.
